equality & diversity statement

The CVSFA is committed to ensuring equality of opportunity for all and to promoting a culture where differences are respected, diversity is valued and everyone is supported to succeed, irrespective of personal circumstances or background. We believe that all forms of prejudice and discrimination are unacceptable and will seek to tackle such matters to ensure that conditions that place people at a disadvantage are removed. The CVSFA shall not unlawfully discriminate, either directly or indirectly, on the basis of age, gender, disability, gender re-assignment, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity (in the workplace), race, religion or belief or sexual orientation ( the “protected characteristics”), or on the grounds of socio-economic status. The Association will seek to enhance opportunities via competitions and festivals via engagement with schools and colleges for those under-represented in, or at risk of disengagement from, schools’ football.
